The Research Division of The Center for Emotional Fitness (CFEF) has been conducting out-patient phase II, III and IV CNS/ Psychiatric clinical trials for over 13 years, providing quality services to meet the specific requirements of clinical protocols. Our clinical investigators include a board certified psychiatrist and licensed clinical psychologist who have collectively performed over 200 clinical studies of psychiatric medications. Working in partnership with many of the major pharmaceutical companies in the industry, we have conducted studies on established medications as well as on novel compounds, which have covered the entire spectrum of psychiatric illness.

 

CFEF conducts clinical trials for Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Treatment Resistant Depression, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Phobia, Schizophrenia, and other adult and adolescent CNS indications.

 

CFEF has the technical capability and experience to utilize electronic CRFs, web based programs and other computerized study requirements. CFEF is not affiliated with any institution requiring a local IRB. We are able to utilize a central IRB for all studies. CFEF offers convenient access with ample parking, transportation services, convenient hours, and accessibility for the handicapped.

 

CFEF is able to draw study candidates from our database of private-practice patients and has an excellent and expanding relationship with local family practices and psychological practices that refer study candidates to us. Additionally, newspaper, radio, and television advertising campaigns, as well as community outreach programs allow us to identify and screen the most qualified study participants and meet or beat our contract goals.
